be shying away from WS and non "winter performance" tires? Reason I say so is because the WS rated tires (studless ice and snow) would burn out exponentially faster on dry cold, as they are made for snow/ice conditions. I would imagine they really arent meant for seeing pavement. NYC Sanitation is extremely capable, and if its 2 inches or 10 inches, that snow is gone pretty damn quick. Im more geared towards cold pavement with some slush on the ground and occasional ice/snow. Also, I was comparing the 25s to the 60s, which are the Blizzak flagship performance snow tires, not the 22s. This is my first winter whipping around TT, so I want to be safe on cold dry highways for some spirited driving.
